Itinerary.

Day 1 Chiang Mai + Doi Suthep temple + Doi Inthanont National Park, The highest peak of Thailand.
                   
                   8.00 am. Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and heading to visit Doi Suthep Temple, the most important temple in Chiang Mai. Exercising time by walking up 306 steps to the temples or taking the funicular to the temple with the attitude at 1,100 ms above the sea level.
                   See the Northern Thai dented corner golden pagoda which contain the relic of the Lord Buddha. Surrounding with the mural painting hall which telling about the Lord Buddha story. Here you can also get a chance to get a holy blessing and wrist tiding ceremony from the Buddhist monk. From the balcony, enjoy with the panorama view of Chiang Mai City. Birds fly up in the sky and cool breeze against your face. After that visit the local market for some Thai snacks and fresh fruits. Then heading southwest of Chiang Mai by the road no.108 for Doi Inthanont National Park, the highest spot in Thailand to the Twins pagodas of His Majesty the King Rama 9th of Thailand and Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand with the lovely and pleasant flowers garden where you could see the panoramic view of the mountain and feel the cool breeze against your face. Then overnight in the Karen Village and enjoy with the homemade dinner.

Day 2 Soft Trek to Pha Dork Siew Waterfall + Tiger Kingdom + Buathong Sticky waterfall + Tree House Chiang Dao.

                 Wake up in the Karen Village with the fresh air. Breakfast and get ready for the soft trek downhill to the Pha Dork waterfall, which takes 2 hours up to 3 hours, depending on the people. On the walk way, See the beautiful of evergreen forest, learning some herbs which the hill tribe using as the remedy. See parts of the step rice fields for irrigation and the Arabica coffee farm of the Pa Ka Yor Hill tribe as well as part of the King Royal project to develop the life of the hill tribe to be better. After the trek, it is time to leave for the Tiger Kingdom*. Lunch in the Tiger Kingdom area . However if you prefer to play with the tigers, the tickets entrance fee would be your own expenses, not include in the tour. You could pay directly on spot at the ticket box at the Tiger Kingdom by yourself. Then  the trip continue to “ Buathong Sticky Waterfall "  The natural lime stone waterfall which you could climb from the bottom to the top of the waterfall with cool fresh waterfall splashing a whole walk way. Then heading to the pleasant Tree House in Chiang Dao. Located in the small local village deep in the forest for you to have a pleasant night rest in the big hug of the mountain.

Day 3 Trek to the waterfall + Chiang Dao Cave + Thaton town.

                Having a lovely trek in the forest area near by the village. See the lovely nature of the lush green trees and the locals people along the walk way. Passing the boarding school for the orphanage kids where there are the hill tribes kids spend their time study and look after each other as a family. Heading through the jungle and walk to the waterfall. Once when arrive in at the waterfall, it is time to relax and enjoy the fresh cool water which you could swim in. After swimming , having lunch from the local guide who prepare the meals in the local style by bamboo cooking. After lunch continue the walk back to the village, having a rest for a while and heading to Chiang Dao Cave. Explore inside the cave to see the stalacmite and stalactite in different shapes and forms. Then heading to Thaton and overnight in Thaton.

Day 4 Thaton + Boat on Mae Kok river + Long Neck Village + Mae Salong + Chiang Rai.

               Laeving the hotel at 8.30 am. And board on the long tail boat on Mae Kok River for about an hour to Mae Salak Village. Visit the Long Neck Village where the ladies decorate themselves with the Brass ring around their necks to be the most beautiful lady in the village. Then continue the trip to Doi Mae Salong where there are plenty of Tea Plantation where you could try the good quality tea and buy home for souvenir. Lunch in the local restaurant . Then visit the Akha Village who immigrated from Tibet before heading to Chiang Rai and spend overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 5 Chiang Rai + White temple + Black House + Monkey Cave + Golden Triangle.

              Leaving  from the hotel in Chiang Rai to visit the famous White temple, which stand glittering against the sun. You’ll amaze with the beautiful Thai and temporary art by Mr. Chalermchai Kositpipat , one of the greatest artist in Thailand who wanted to present the art which can relate to the Buddhist in his own idea. Not only the magnificent view from outside, but also inside the main building where you can see the beautiful painting on the walls which he wanted to present what he has seen in his lifetime which you’ll be amazed. Take a walk around the temple area for photos . If you wish to have a painting for a souvenir, please contact at the souvenir of the temple. Then  lunch in the local restaurant before the visit to the monkey cave on the way to the Golden Triangle where the three countries meet. See Thailand , Laos and Myanmar which divide by the two rivers : Ruak River ( For Thailand and Myanmar) and Mae Khong River in between Myanmar + Laos and Thailand + Laos.

Day 6  Golden Triangle + Doi Tung Royal Villa + Chiang Mai.

               Leaving  the hotel at the Golden Triangle at 7.30 am. in the morning and visit to Doi Tung Royal Villa of the Princess Mother of the present King of Thailand.the palace in the big beautiful valley which has a huge garden with more varieties of flowers. In the palace, see the main hall where the people can show their respect to the Princess mother or the King Ramam 9th 's mother. You can also see silk embroidering in the name of the flowers which start from the English alphabet and the beautiful painting which can change the color and light while you walking from ne corner to the other corner. Enjoy the lovely view point from the palace balcony with the view of the garden and mountains' view. You can enjoy walking in the garden and take a photo of the statue called " The continuty " right in the middle of the garden.  After that continue back to Chiang Mai. *** Or transfer out to Chiang Rai Airport for the flight to Bangkok / Phuket / Krabi  instead of returning back to Chiang Mai.

Weather  tips!

November - February.
                   During the winter in Thailand, the temperature is between 5 - 12 degrees Celsius / 41 - 54 degrees Fahrenheit. You should come prepared with appropriate clothing. This is the best time for traveling in Thailand, due to the nice and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation which makes the bio diversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.

March - May.
                  This is summer time, the temperature is between 28 - 33 degree Celsius / 82 - 91 degrees Fahrenheit. The hottest time of the year is April, when temperatures can reach as high as 43 degree Celsius / 109 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring something light and thin to wear. Hat , sun glasses and sunscreen is recommended.

June - October.
                  This is the rainy season, the temperature is between 18 - 25 degree Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or rain coat are recommended. Flip flops or thongs are the best shoes to wear during these months.
