                This program is the highlight in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. You would see the local life, nature which not very often you would have a chance to stay in Chiang Dao. You would have a chance to see some of the important places in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. With only this program you would see places, tradition, culture and relax in the lovely atmosphere in the 5 days 4 nights trip. 

Itinerary.

Day 1 : Pick up from Chiang Mai Airport + Doi Suthep temple + City temples.

              Pick up from Chiang Mai International Airport Visit Doi Suthep Pui National Park to the mountain with curvy road to see Doi Suthep Temple, the most important temple in Chiang Mai. Exercising time by walking up 306 steps to the temples or taking the funicular to the temple with the attitude at 1,100 ms above the sea level. Come back to the city to see Suan Dork Royal Temple where the northern royal family tombs are located and the standing Buddha Image , the only one in holding the blessing stick position in Chiang Mai.Visit Wat Chedi Luang or The Grand Pagoda Temple where you can see the biggest pagoda in Chiang Mai which broke down by the earthquake in 1454, but still can see the giantic pagoda stands gracefully in the middle of the temple ground.Before the returning back to the hotel see Wat Chiang Maan, the first temple as the royal resident of King Mengrai of Mengrai dynasty. See 2 precious Buddha images Phra Satangkamanee and Phra Buddha Sila which are important for Chiang Mai people. After the temple returning back to the hotel.

Day 2 : Doi Inthanont National Park + Soft Trek at Pha Dork Siew Waterfall. 

             Depart from the hotel and heading southside of Chang Mai to Doi Inthanont National Park, the highest peak of Thailand with 2,565 meters above the sea level. See the beautiful scenic view and lush green nature forest area. See the highest peak of Thailand with the stupa of King Inthawitchayanon, the last King of Lanna Kingdom before we became Siam and Thailand later on. Visit the stupa of King Inthawichayanont, enjoy 30 minutes walk in the Angka nature trail. See the lush green forest area and feel fresh with the cool breath against your face. Then continue to the Twin Pagodas for King Bhumiphol and Queen Sirikit of Thailand as the 60th years birthday anniversary, built by Thai Lada Air Force and locals. Inside the pagodas, see the beautiful art about the Lords Buddha. Then visit Hmong hill tribe market where they sell their vegetables and fruits product instead of opium and lunch in the local restaurant. Then meet our new friend from Karen man from “ Pa Ka Yor ” hill tribe who going to lead us the walk through the forest area to his village. 
              Start your walk into the pine forest area, follow the small pathway to Pha Dork Siew Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfall in this area. See the beautiful scenery and lush green forest and different bio diversities.The walk way has both easy walk and part of the exciting one. The stop will be made close by the waterfall for you to swim and relax in the fresh cooling water. Enjoy with the nice view of the waterfall before continue the walk through the terrace rice fields and coffee plantation that belong to the Karen Hill tribe who work for the King's Royal project before reaching the village. After resting have some Arabica fresh coffee which comes from the village before continue to Wachiratharn Waterfall one of the waterfall with 750 meters high strong powerful current of the water and the fresh spray against your face. Take an easy short walk around to take photos before the returning to Chiang Mai City.

Day 3 : Sticky waterfall + Elephant Sanctuary + Long Neck village. 

              Pick up from the hotel lobby in Chiang Mai at 8:30 am. heading to the north of Chiang Mai to Chiang Mai Sticky Waterfall, the natural waterfall from limestone aclled "Bautong Waterfall ". Enjoy the clear srystal water and have fun climbing from the bottom to the top of the waterfall. Then heading to Elephant Sanctuary meet the elephants and learn to take care these lovely friends. Feed them, take them for a walk in the shady forest and the jungle area in the camp. Share you kindness and caring to them with love and care. Enjoy nice and cool water bathing with your elephant in the river. Then having lunch before taking a walk to visit the Long Neck Village, see the long neck ladied who carry 24-26 rings on her shoulders to be the most beautiful lady in her village as well as to keep their tribe tradition. Enjoy walking around the village for you to take some photos and support the tribe products if you prefer to. After that continuing the road about an hour in the area called “ Chiang Dao” 70 kilometers away from Chiang Mai City where you can find the peaceful and nature come together. Then checking in the hotel in Chiang Dao at the Buraphat Resort with the lovely view of Chiang Dao mountain.

Day 4 : Chiang Dao Cave + Thaton Temple + King Mather Doi Tung Garden + Mae Sai, Thai + Myanmar border + Golden Triangle.

               Check out and leaving the hotel to Thaton Area, on the way  visit Chiang Dao Cave where once it used to be the resting place for the Burmese soldiers troop before attacked Chiang Mai in mid of 1400s. Inside the cave, enjoy using your imagination to guest the shape of the stalacmite and stalactite in different shapes and forms. Then visit Thaton temple up the mountain with the nice view of Kok River from Myanmar with 78 kms through Thailand from Thaton to Chiang Rai. Lunch in the local restaurant. Then heading to Doi Tung Royal Villa of the Princess Mother of King Rama 9th where she spent her time to improve the hilltribe life to stop the opium cultivation. See the lovely log cabin palace with the beautiful flower garden. Then visit Mae Sai, the border between Thailand and Myanmar. See the Thai, Chinese and Burmese people cross over the border for trading before heading to The Golden Triangle where once was the famous opuim trad area and then check in the hotel.

Day 5 : Boat on Khong to Laos + Black Museum + Sigha Park with tea plantation + White Temple + Hot Spring + Chiang Mai.

                Wake up in the morning and having breakfast, then explore the Golden Triangle, the famous opium trading area in the old days. Enjoy the boat ride on Mae Khong Giantic River and visit Laos. Then leaving the golden triangle to Chiang Rai Area, visit Black Museum of Mr.Tawan Datchanee one of the famous artist in Thailand with the idea of Yin and Yang, the balancing where the huge collections of the artist and enjoy taking photos. Lunch in the local restaurant and visit Singha Park with tea plantation fields. Enjoy the green space and then visit to White temple the unique temple in Thailand showing his purity heart. See the contemporary art on the temple wall. Then heading to the hot spring before arriving in Chiang Mai and overnight in Chiang Mai.

Weather  tips!

November - February.
                   During the winter in Thailand, the temperature is between 5 - 12 degrees Celsius / 41 - 54 degrees Fahrenheit. You should come prepared with appropriate clothing. This is the best time for traveling in Thailand, due to the nice and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation which makes the bio diversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.

March - May.
                  This is summer time, the temperature is between 28 - 33 degree Celsius / 82 - 91 degrees Fahrenheit. The hottest time of the year is April, when temperatures can reach as high as 43 degree Celsius / 109 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring something light and thin to wear. Hat, sun glasses and sunscreen is recommended.

June - October.
                  This is the rainy season, the temperature is between 18 - 25 degree Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or rain coat are recommended. Flip flops or thongs are the best shoes to wear during these months.
